Implementation Requirements
A successful implementaiton depends on the system foundations. The more robust systems are created the better the outcome. The basic steps required for systems implementation are:
•Develop a robust document control system to ensure accurate policies are available to staff
•Develop an administrative level records control system
•Determine the core mission and values of the organization and develop a mission and vision statement
•Establish a vertical and horizontal communications system
•Conduct periodic management reviews of customer satisfaction, systems effectiveness, process capability and outcomes
•Ensure staff is adequately trained, work environment is maintained and infrastructure is appropriate
•Ensure all changes are carried out under the guidance of a quality plan
•Periodically evaluate vendors of services for their ability to meet requirements
•Document the processes necessary for service delivery
•Control customer supplied property
•Establish identification and traceability systems
•Verify calibration status of measuring and monitoring devices
•Measure customer satisfaction, systems effectiveness, process capability, outcomes quality, and analyze the data
•Establish corrective and preventive action systems
How long does it take?
